Offline Server/Anyone talked to LEGO?/Recruit LUPs

DermyDog is right, I hope we all agree that a private server is for the best though it would still be cool to make the future updates we will never see in LEGO Universe that were planned.

Also, we NEED someone to communicate with LEGO about L.U.P. 2.0.

It would also be cool to see if we could get some of the former LUPs (LEGO Universe Partners) to join in our project.

  1. I'm trying to talk to Lego about it now.

I'm trying to make LU online, but only for private servers, much like any other game. The only people that can get in must have an account registered with admin, or maybe it only works on local networks not over the internet.

I hate the idea of LU being an offline game. The best part (and the only reason I play) is that you can play with your friends.

  2. I know! But we can't distribute how to make LU private servers! That is a bad idea! Everybody would blame it on Lego if something bad happened! I think a LUP 2.0 server would be fine, but we should not release how to do it over the web for lego's sake!

  6. @dermydog I agree as I said in this post, and I also agree about how it should not be distributed over the web so that leaves only one option, email. The problem comes with the question who will invite, the designers of L.U.P. 2.0. certainly, but how will we send out all those emails?
