L.U.P. 2.0. CLOSED

L.U.P. 2.0. is over. It is not legal as Kelvin learned when he tried to make his version that resulted in a warning from LEGO. Lets all just remember all the great times we had in LU and enjoy the last few months.  ProfessorBrickkeeper, signing out.

  1. We can make a illegal LU offline version, without LEGO that notes...

  2. Kelvin was doing it illegally because he was hacking to get the server files and stuff. But if we take the 3D models and don't share the game and build it in a free program (i.e. Unity 3D), than it's not illegal.

  3. @rioforce Well, L.U.P. 2.0. was getting nowhere anyway and if it was illegal I would not want to be held responsible, as a side-note I don't even know how to find the LU 3d files on a MAC.

P.S. I joined your project though because I am a PRO at Unity 3d!

  7. Hello! Please listen to me! I want to show one trick! We can open Login Screen! How? Here:
    C:\Program Files\LEGO Software\LEGO Universe\client
    and that open ''legouniverse''! See?

  8. Lego... I can't believe they horde the game files like that after it was their failure for over pricing, and under minding freeplay. It's all about money now... Wasn't it only a few years ago I remember when almost all lego sets were affordable? That's what they get for working with lucas arts so closely... 'Tis a sad day... I would have loved to see an offline version of LU...

  9. Guys, Guys, Guys...
I know it is illegal to copy a 'Lego' Product, but we could create a game without even the 'Lego' part.
    I call it 'Youniverse'.
Can anyone help me out with this project?
